Double Exposure Silhouette
You will be creating 2 double exposures. Each image is worth 20 points.
1: Create a silhouette double exposure. Take a silhouette in the studio (of yourself), using blending modes you will combine this with another image. The background in this image needs to be completely white (use the dodging tool). (we will take the studio photos next week)
2: Create a double exposure with any two images. This image needs to tell a story, make the viewer want to know more.
Due:
Placement is key in both of these images. They can be color or black and white, or a combination of both.
These will be printed 4x6 and will be displayed in the school.
Scroll to the bottom of this page for instructions. We will make these in class next week.

How to make a double exposure:
1-Bring in to photoshop the two images you want to combine.
2-Using the dodge tool, dodge the background to get it totally white. Paint it white if needed.
3-Using the move tool (v) bring in the second image to the canvas of the first image, so both images are in one canvas as two separate layers.
4-Using the transform tool (command t) resize your second image to cover the first image. Hit return.
5-Go into the blending modes in your layers menu and select 'screen' blending mode.
6-From here you can be as creative as you want. Use masking to blend, use the adjustments to change colors or make it b&w.
