ACTION PHOTOGRAPHY
Action Photography: (noun) A photographic picture featuring the subject in motion or action.
To take an action shot you will need to use a FAST shutter speed.
Also take into consideration: Angle, Location, Lens, Lighting, Shooting mode, Buffer time, Stabilization (mono pod)
15 action shots will be due on: Tuesday August 29, this day will be an edit day, you will turn in your best 3 images and a contact sheet with all 15 images.
We will critique on Thursday August 31st..
Each photo is worth 5 points, total of 75 points, the 5 points for each picture are:
1)Focus: (including depth of field or lack of) also the main subject should be crisp, and not blurry. (1 point)
2)Lighting/exposure: adjust the ISO, aperture and shutter speed if needed (1 point)
3)Composition: zoom out a little while taking the image and crop afterward as needed to get the shot (1 point)
4)Camera angles: shoot from down low to add power and importance or shoot from above to give overall coverage. (1 point)
5)Main subject: expression, did you the subjects face, body language (1 point)
